Mustafa is an accomplished investment and operating professional with over thirty years of global and diversified experience in various leadership roles as a Principal, CEO, COO, Strategy Consultant and Board Member for companies in multiple stages of their life cycle, across several industries and sectors, including consumer products, food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, business services, real estate and hospitality. Mustafa is currently serving as the Managing Director of MK Partners as a financial and operating advisor.

Prior to that, he worked at Investcorp International as a Principal and at Reig Capital Group as a Managing Director. Mustafa also worked as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers and Citigroup, based in NYC. He began his career as a management consultant and worked for both Arthur D. Little and McKinsey.

Mustafa holds a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.P.A. degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and an M.B.A. degree from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
